This intro course is designed for beginners with no prior kiting experience. Students will get to put a harness on and learn how to fly a kite. This hands on approach teaches students the basic principles behind snowkiting.

1st Mission: 1/2 day lesson/ $220
This lesson will get you riding in the backcountry. Class sizes will be kept small (2 student maximum) We will provide all of your kite gear and fit you with a harness. Students will learn how to kite in powder using wind power.

Transition Mission: 3 hours/$150
Many kiteboarders want to make the transition to snow. We find the best way to make this transition is by using snowkite specific gear and the best way to learn about a new sport and kite spot is from a qualified instructor with years of experience and local knowledge. We offer the use of our snowkite equipment, harnesses and snowkite boards/skis for you to use. Don't get skunked, get out and ride! At the conclution of the Transition Mission, we can help you understand how to use your inflatable kite on snow.
For kitesurfers wishing to make the jump from water to snow.
To qualify for this lesson you must be able to do the following on water:
- Be able to get up and ride a board over a distance of 50 meters
- Safely launch and land your kite
- Understand the basic principles behind sheeting your kite
- Can relaunch your kite from the water
AND
- Must have some experience skiing or snowboarding
- You don't have to be a rock star kiter or know how to go up wind but you must demonstrate good kite skills to qualify for this course.
